Our mission at the Shiksha Vikas Vidyalaya is to provide free training to primary school children in rural India and to bring awareness about the opportunities that are available with a strong education. It is our goal to provide these young students with the necessary knowledge, resources and academic tools to open doors to their careers and ultimately succeed in their professional endeavors. We hope to be motivational and inspirational in all that we do.

Vinay Singh

Currently self employed, Vinay Singh has degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He feels a connection with Chanchali because his father was born in the village. Coming from a middle class family, Singh was always taught the importance of education and how it can be transform lives.

Singh's father was a major influence in his life who always told him, "if you see something wrong, fix it." Singh has worked in diverse industries across India and the USA. His other interests include mountain-climbing and fitness training. He is married and has two daughters.

Linda Singh

Linda is an experienced marketing professional, with 30+ years experience in beauty industry. She has an MBA from Eastern University. She started her business, Sitara Collections, with the mission to help women artisans in India by bringing their hand crafted items closer to consumers in the US. She is passionate about helping others get ahead in life and this is her way of giving back to the country that has given the world so much beauty. Her business contributes financially to Sitara Foundation.
